Toronto Business Owner Among Nation's First to Own Head-Turning New International LoneStar Truck

the nation to take delivery of the International® LoneStar™, a long-haul tractor that is turning heads every where it goes. The International LoneStar is an entirely new entry in the trucking industry because it mixes bold styling with aerodynamic and fuel saving performance.
In an industry hit hard by high diesel prices and the economic downturn, the International LoneStar is designed to minimize operating costs and install pride in truck owners delivering goods and services across North America. The International LoneStar exceeds the fuel economy performance of “classic” long nose trucks favored by owner operators by as much as 10 percent based on testing using accepted industry standards.
The International LoneStar has reached celebrity-like status on truck blogs, and CB radios. Operators are quick to alert other drivers when one is spotted on the road. The truck was professionally filmed for an International Truck-sponsored movie named Drive and Delivery which tells the story of three truck drivers making their way home in the International LoneStar. The first screening of the movie in Texas received a standing ovation.

There are more than 40 customizable options on the truck, including an industry-first suite interior that features a wood floor and stylized living and sleeping spaces, room for a lap top, fold-down flat screen and more.
